Meningitis

Meningitis is a serious condition involving inflammation of the protective membranes around the brain and spinal cord. It can be caused by viruses, bacteria, or fungi, and symptoms may include fever, severe headache, neck stiffness, nausea, sensitivity to light, and confusion. Some forms can progress rapidly and require urgent medical treatment. Vaccination and early medical care play an important role in prevention and recovery.
