Kidney Disease
Kidney disease occurs when the kidneys are damaged and cannot filter waste and excess fluids from the blood effectively. It can develop over time due to conditions like diabetes or high blood pressure. Symptoms may include fatigue, swelling, and changes in urination. Treatment often involves medication, lifestyle changes, and, in severe cases, dialysis or transplant.
“My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” – Psalm 73:26
When the body grows tired, Lord,
be the strength that does not fade.
Sustain those who feel worn down,
and renew them in ways only You can.
Let endurance rise where weakness lingers.
Amen.
