Fractures/Broken Bones

A broken bone, or fracture, occurs when a bone is cracked or completely broken due to injury, falls, or accidents. Symptoms can include pain, swelling, bruising, and difficulty moving the affected area. Treatment may involve casting, splinting, or sometimes surgery to help the bone heal properly. While most fractures heal over time, recovery can require patience, rest, and support.

Lord of all strength,
when the body is hurt, and healing feels slow,
Be near those who are injured.

In the stillness of recovery, bring peace.
In the frustration of waiting, bring patience.
In moments of pain, be a source of comfort deeper than any relief the world can give.

May each day bring quiet progress,
each moment of rest bring renewal.
And each step forward reminds them that healing is already at work.

Hold them steady, Lord,
and carry them gently back to wholeness.

Amen.
