Alzheimers
Alzheimer’s disease is a progressive brain disorder that affects memory, thinking, and behavior. It is the most common cause of dementia and usually develops slowly over time, beginning with mild memory loss and eventually impacting a person’s ability to carry out everyday tasks. Alzheimer’s not only affects those diagnosed but also deeply impacts their families and caregivers. While there is no cure, treatments and support can help manage symptoms and improve quality of life.
Heavenly Father,
We lift up all those living with Alzheimer’s disease. In moments of confusion, be their clarity. In times of fear, be their peace. When memories fade, remind them that they are always known and loved by You.
Strengthen their families and caregivers with patience, compassion, and endurance. Grant them comfort in difficult moments and joy in the small, meaningful connections they share. Guide doctors and researchers as they seek better treatments and understanding.
Lord, surround all who are affected with Your presence. Hold them close when they feel lost, and be their constant source of love and security.
Amen.
