Asthma
Asthma is a chronic condition that affects the airways in the lungs, making it harder to breathe. When someone has asthma, their airways can become inflamed and narrow, especially when triggered by things like allergens, cold air, exercise, or respiratory infections. This can cause symptoms such as wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, and shortness of breath. While asthma has no cure, it can often be managed with medications and by avoiding triggers, allowing many people to live active and healthy lives.
Heavenly Father,
We lift up all those living with asthma. In moments when breathing becomes difficult, bring them calm and relief. Ease their airways and give them strength with each breath they take.
Guide doctors and caregivers in providing the best treatment and care. Help those who struggle to feel supported, understood, and never alone.
Lord, fill them with peace in times of fear and remind them that You are always near, sustaining them with every breath.
Amen.
