Appendicitis

Appendicitis is a condition where the appendix becomes inflamed and infected, often causing sudden pain in the lower right side of the abdomen. Other symptoms may include fever, nausea, vomiting, and loss of appetite. Because the appendix can rupture if untreated, appendicitis usually requires prompt medical attention and often surgery. Most people recover fully with proper care and rest.

“The Lord sustains them on their sickbed.” – Psalm 41:3

Lord of healing,
watch over those facing sudden pain, surgery, and recovery.

Guide surgeons and medical teams with wisdom and steady hands.
Bring peace before procedures,
strength after treatment,
and patience during healing.

Let recovery come smoothly and safely,
and restore comfort and health quickly. Amen.
